ST JAMES’ PARK – THORLEY FOOTPATHS 001 and 003

We have shared the frustration of local residents regarding the ongoing ‘temporary’ closures of sections of Thorley Footpaths 001 and 003 due to the construction of the St James’ Park estate. Through our involvement on the St James’ Park Community Forum we have been pressing the developers and County Council to have the two footpaths reinstated and reopened to the public as a priority. I’m pleased to advise that we have recently been informed that the developers are planning to get both paths opened up to the public by the middle of next month. We will be monitoring the situation closely.
