Rail Crossing closures

On 31^st March Network Rail submitted its proposals for rail crossing closures across the Anglia region. They can be found on https://www.networkrail.co.uk/running-the-railway/our-routes/anglia/anglia-level-crossings/. For Hertfordshire and Essex proposals expand “Essex and others” and then click “Essex and other TWAO”. The good news for Bishop’s Stortford is that the Twyford Road crossing is not part of the proposals at the moment, but this could be added later. There are two other crossings to close in Thorley and one at Sawbridgeworth plus several crossing in Uttlesford. The BSDFA is currently reviewing the proposals and will provide feedback to Network Rail where necessary. If you would like to submit any comments directly to Network Rail they must be submitted by Friday,12th May 2017.
