WICKHAM HALL DRIVE (BISHOP’S STORTFORD BRIDLEWAY 008)

An update on our earlier post.

The construction of the segregated footpath on Wickham Hall Drive has been completed. Although the path switches sides as it heads toward the underpass a pedestrian crossing has been marked out together with traffic calming measures by way of several speed humps. The humps are very effective and I would not recommend anyone trying to negotiate them over 10 mph. The path lacks any signage highlighting that this is a public bridleway and we’ll take this up with the Herts CC Rights of Way team.
