A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY BSDFA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)

BSDFA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) – THURSDAY, 17 OCTOBER 2024

We are pleased to announce that our 2024 AGM will take place on Thursday, 17 October at the New Apton Centre, Apton Road, Bishop’s Stortford, CM23 3SN.

The meeting will commence at 7.30pm and after the formalities and a break for refreshments, our Chair, Dave Webber, will deliver an illustrated talk on the work of the BSDFA.

Dave, a Liverpudlian by birth, has lived in Bishop’s Stortford since 1989. A keen walker and cyclists he first become involved with the BSDFA almost 20 years ago and has been its Chair longer than he can remember! In that time he has had an opportunity to explore the extensive network of footpaths, bridleways and byways surrounding Bishop’s Stortford. His talk will reflect on the BSDFA’s mission to protect, promote and enhance our local rights of way network during a period of significant change. Looking at some specific examples of our current work Dave will discuss the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

The meeting is open to both members and visitors. The New Apton Centre is only 25 metres from the nearest long stay car park with alternative parking a short walk away in Jackson Square.
