We are pleased to report that the Herts Countryside Management Service has recently replaced an old stile on High Wych Footpath 030 with a new kissing gate. This completes the work they started in 2022 when the southern section of this footpath had two broken stiles replaced by kissing gates. The team has also taken the opportunity to replace a missing waymarker.
We should also highlight the good work by the local farmer who over the past couple of years has done an excellent job clearly marking the cross field footpaths, the example in the attached photo is High Wych Footpath 029.
