PROW rail closures
In East Anglia Network Rail are proposing to shut 60 (Essex) walking crossings. The effect that this will have on walking routes will be huge. Also this is only the first step in their plan to close all crossings. Please note this is not build a bridge or tunnel but close completely all crossing. Network Rail has set us all up to accept crossing have to be closed. This is not true and the only way we can change that is to all object. We need all organisations to object. We need everyone to object.
Network Rail has set up a link for people who cannot attend the meetings to record their feelings. We have to use this. If we do not we will look back and wish we had.
