A date for your diary. On Saturday, 16th March Cycle Stortford will be organising a mass cycle and walking demonstration ride to highlight the need for a safer route to allow pedestrians and cyclists to avoid Rye Street. The starting point will be the Bandstand in Sworder’s Field at 10am.
The BSDFA will be contributing by leading a walk along the proposed route of an off road cycle / pedestrian path that would link Grange Paddocks to Rye Street and the Stortford Fields / St Michael’s Hurst developments. The construction of this path is the number one priority for Bishop’s Stortford Town Council and is being driven by its Sustainable Transport Sub-Committee on which both the BSDFA and Cycle Stortford have been co-opted.
Please come along and support us.
Dave Webber – BSDFA
