THORLEY FOOTPATH 001 – PARTIALLY REOPENED AT ST JAMES’ PARK

We’re pleased to report that the section of Thorley Footpath 001 between Thorley Street and Beaumont Drive has now reopened following the completion of resurfacing and landscape work. Unfortunately.the remaining section of footpath west of Beaumont Drive to Obrey Way is likely to remain closed for some considerable time. However, there are now two diversion routes available for walkers – by heading north along Beaumont Drive to connect with the ‘Hertfordshire Way’ footpath or by following a newly constructed cycle/pedestrian path to the north of the new Care Home and follows the perimeter of the new secondary school site to Obrey Way. This new path has been built to a good standard and has been extensively landscaped.
