UPDATE: ‘HERTFORDSHIRE WAY’ AT ST JAMES’ PARK

Further to my earlier post, I’m pleased to report that the line of wire fencing has been removed from this footpath. Walkers now have a much broader footpath to follow which has been enhanced by hedge planting along the new school boundary and the planting of several new trees. We will need to monitor that the school hedge line is managed to ensure that the views south along the Stort valley are preserved from the footpath.

Thanks to the BS High School and Countryside Properties for arranging for the removal of the wire fence.
